BioBorn in South Korea, raised in Kansas City, Missouri, by random white people, and moved to Philadelphia in August of 1998. I'm a law school dropout, and damn proud of it, too! Currently working toward a Master of Public Health.
Despite being raised by Midwestern white folks who sent me to Southern Baptist churches about two to three times a week (although they themselves never went), I've managed to become a pro-choice, anti-death penalty, pro-separation of church and state, bisexual, Korean-identified woman. Although I do feel that I'm probably one of few non-Republicans, non-NRA persons at the gun range where I take target practice (I have a nifty little Beretta Tomcat .32 semi-auto).
I'm pretty outspoken, especially on issues such as international/interracial adoption (please visit www.transracialabductees.org), political ideology, prison reform, our so-called "criminal justice system," and why Carl Edwards can beat Junior any day of the week and twice on Sundays. ;)
And, yes, as a good li'l Missourian, I DO believe that Mizzou's football team CAN beat Nebraska's! (Hey, once every 26 years is still a win, right?)
